Gymnastics

Avery loves gymnastics...LOVES it!  We just recently switched her to Chow's Gymnastics as opposed to the local gym and she is having a great time.  Her favorite apparatus is the bars and her least favorite is the beam.  For Christmas she got a tumbling mat and beam in addition to a bar that Corbin rigged up in the basement using a shovel handle.  Don't worry - I am sure the bar is totally safe (insert sarcasm).  She would literally practice her skills all day long if I let her.  She had to be evaluated at Chow's to determine which class was the best fit for her and was able to skip 3 levels (kindergarten, young beginner, beginner) and head straight to Advanced Beginner.  The girls in her class range in age from 7-10 except for one other 6 year old.  We were told that she is super strong, easy to coach, and is being "watched" for the Talented and Gifted program.  We are sure proud of our little lady!  

I need to take more videos of her during her actual class, but I am always chasing Gabe and Luke and keeping them from throwing things over the observation balcony onto the little gymnasts like shoes or my phone (yes, both have happened already)...
