Wow!!! It has been a crazy week filled with more fun, fun, fun!!! A couple of days ago I had the pleasure of spending 3 1/2 hours at the service center for more van repairs with both kids in tow- yuck!!! At one point the service manager felt sorry for me and gave the kids suckers. Of Course, Avery had the blue sucker. See picture - she will never be able to wear that dress again :)
Piper taught Cael how to ride a scooter and a big bike (with training wheels)!!! He was so excited. Notice he isn't wearing any shoes. Mother of year award just went out the window!
Last night more storms swirled around our area and the tornado sirens even went off around 10 p.m.! Corbin and I tried to gently take the little one's to the basement, but they both woke up. Cael thought it was blast to be laying on the floor in daddy's office. Eventually, everything calmed down and we were able to get the kids back in bed. I will be glad when this crazy weather calms down. It is supposed to rain everyday next week, so I guess I will have to wait!
Today we made a trip to the zoo with the Allison and the girls. Cael LOVED the elephant show - Rosie and JP were entertaining. We also spent a lot of time in the play area where Avery decided the sand was a tasty treat - again see picture.
Cael's funny quote of the day #1 - I asked him to do me a favor and throw away one of Avery's diapers, and put one hand on his hip and said, "Can you do me a favor and just throw Avery away." He really does love her...I think.
Cael's funny quote of the day #2 - We were at a check out register at JC Penny's and he ever so politely said to the salesperson, "Hurry up, Lady". I made him apologize, and thankfully she thought he was being funny. I am sure he got that from me because he is forever dawdling, and I am forever telling him to hurry up :)
