Not long ago I heard Cael rummaging around in the garage to find that he was fixing his bike "just like Daddy". Apparently, the training wheel on his bike was wobbly. He found the correct tools and actually fixed the wheel on his bike all by himself! What really impressed me, though, is that he even put the tools away when he was finished!
Also, the "era" of Piper is somewhat over. The girls that lived across the street have moved. They only live about 2 miles away so we still get to see them, but Cael was a little sad to have lost Piper as a neighbor. However, new girls moved in a few houses down from us (we have no little boys on our street) and Cael has become good friends with Lori. I am sure he will be spending a lot of time with her this summer!
