Back in Your Days?

Upon putting his scooter in the garage Cael asked me, "Mom, did you have a scooter back in your days?". What! Is it really possible that portions of my life can be defined as "back in your days". I guess so...

No, Cael, I did not have a scooter back in my days. I did have to walk to school five miles uphill both ways in 5 feet of snow! Not really. However, my mom used put bread sacks over my shoes attached with a rubber band to protect my feet from the snow instead of boots! Cael would probably love bread sacks over his shoes :)

I was distracted by the word "sacks" vs. "bags"

I keep forgetting you're in IA....do you say "pop" and "supper" too?

I am already old fashioned. I learned what an MP3 player was last year and they have been out for several.
