Organized toy box!!!As promised, the kids and I organized all the toys in the entire house! It was quite a project which took nearly three hours. I have realized once again that we don't need another toy for 10 years! There is now a new rule in our household - if a toy comes in a toy must to go out! Cael and Avery were troopers and "helped" the entire time. They even picked out some stuffed animals to donate to Good Will. I am not sure if they totally comprehended the lesson in generosity because as I explained to Cael that some kids don't have any toys to play with he said, "Mom, that would be really boring!". Not exactly the emotional impact I had intended, but it is a start!

oh man, I need to blog about our toys.....out of control. Zoey totally would not get the whole "out with the old" mentality.
At least we have a playroom to pile all of her treasures high and keep them out of the living room (for the most part)
You are so brave to take on such an endeavor! I really need to get a handle on our toy situation...thank you for the inspiration.
You need to write a book and call it the things Cael says. He is such a handsome, charming, sweet young man.
