Last week our family met a major milestone – the Family Vacation!!! We took the kiddos to the Florida Keys for an entire week. It was a great time. We went with two other couples and stayed in a house on Marathon Key. The weather was a fantastic 85 degrees every day. A far cry from the 16 inches of snow that Mother Nature dumped on Iowa that day after we left!
I was so nervous to take all three little ones on an airplane, but they did great! We did so many fun things – we went to the beach several times, spent an afternoon in Key West, had a ladies morning at a spa, visited the Sea Turtle Hospital, and went to the Theatre of the Sea just to name a few. Here are a few of my favorite pictures (I have 700 pics to sort through). I will post more later…
Airplane ride!
The Beach!
The beach was only about 1/2 mile from our house. Cael and Avery could have spent everyday at the beach - they loved it! Gabe, on the other hand, ate a lot of sand at the beach,and did not love being confined in his stroller.

We spent an afternoon walking around Key West and ate at a wonderful restaurant - Blue Heaven.

Theatre of the Sea!
Theatre of the Sea was a great day. We got "meet" the Dolphins and Sea Lions. It was so much fun!

Looks like it was a great time! And then you had to come back to all the snow.
