The Winter Family CHRISTmas

This year we had an amazing Christmas. Little Miss Avery was fighting a virus that was causing some high fevers so we were homebound and not able to go to church on Christmas Eve. In order to teach our children that Christmas is about the birth of baby Jesus we acted out the Christmas story. It was so much fun, and hopefully it will turn into a very meaningful memory for our children.

Avery as "Mary"

Gabriel as "Angel Gabriel" telling Mary and then Joseph that they are going to have God's son.

Cael as "Joseph"

We started in the living room and Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and Joseph. We traveled to family room where the Inn Keeper told them that there was no room in the Inn. We then traveled to basement "cave/stable" where baby Jesus was born.
The star

The children listening the daddy explain to them that Jesus gave us the ultimate gift of salvation which is why we give eachother gifts on Christmas in honor of baby Jesus.

Avery got a bike!

For some reason we only took video of Cael opening his presents and not any pictures. No worries...he had a great Christmas and is enjoying is kids sized golf clubs!
