I am not a crafty person. I can color, play with play dough, and finger-paint. That is the extent of my artistic, creative ability. Corbin takes crafting to a whole other level. He builds a trebuchets. Better know as a medieval “catapult”. Here's the story. Corbin and Cael watched a video of a burning grand piano being launched through the air by a trebuchet. Cael said, “Dad, that’s awesome! Can we build one to throw my cars?” Corbin’s response, “Can we build it? Yes we can!” Fast forward to the dilemma of what to get a kid that already has too much for his birthday. Why, a trebuchet, of course!

Due to dangerously cold weather the trebuchet project was brought inside. Our kitchen was a disaster for two days, but Cael had TONS of fun. That is what ultimately matters. (I think Corbin had TONS of fun, too)
Cael was literally shaking with excitement when the first car was thrown! The accuracy of the machine is a bit off, but all in all it was a fun project. We are lucky family to have such a crafty daddy.

Woo hoo Awesome! I think Adam and Corbin would get along.
And the 3 wolves shirt...I know all about those suckers!!! I love them. I almost got Adam the ridiculously large belt buckle with the 3 wolves on it for his birthday last year.
