Cael built a bunny trap made from a cake pan lid, a chain of safety pins, and some leaves. He was so excited that it rained that night because he thought the bunny would be attracted to the water in the lid, the lid would be slippery, and then the bunny would get stuck. He is a very imaginative little boy who is trying to get himself a pet because somebody (I have no idea who) told him that Pet Smart does not sell pets to kid under 8 years of age.
He also put carrots in the bunny hole by the shed.
Unfortunately, the bunny trap did not work. The only thing Cael caught was Gabriel who snagged one of the carrots from by the shed. I guess he will just have to wait three years until he reaches the Pet Smart age requirements!

These pictures and the story are SO CUTE!!! Your little boy is absolutely precious putting out the carrots for the bunny.
That somebody is RIGHT...you have to be 8 for Petsmart to sell you a pet ;)
