Wilcox family reunion

This past weekend we attended the Wilcox Family Reunion. It was so much fun! Despite having a 5 week old baby, my brother and his wife were gracious enough to host the big party in their backyard. My grandparents and their three kids, 6 out 7 grandkids plus spouses, and 8 great grandkids were all part of the festivities. We ate good food, shared memories, played yard games, and laughed a lot. After the yard party we all headed to the hotel and spent a few hours in the pool with the kids. Once the kiddos were in bed the “family” stayed up and played some cards – thanks Corbin for “taking one for the team” by hanging out with the kids while they were sleeping and letting me enjoy the card game. My uncle lives in Florida and my cousin lives in Wisconsin so it was very special that all the family came together and shared in the day.

A big thank you to Scott and Tami for hosting the party! A big, big thank you Erin and Candice for organizing the activities and games!!! It was a great day and lots of memories were made. I know that my family really looks forward to next year's reunion. I say it over and over again, but I have been incredibly blessed to be surround by lots and lots of family. Really, that is was life is all about...

Now on to getting ready family reunion #2 coming this weekend. Let the good times roll!
