The other night Cael and I were playing baseball in the yard. This was our conversation,
Cael: "Mom, you know why I can hit the ball better than you? It is because I am skinny!"
Me: "Oh, really?"
Cael: "Yeah, I am skinny and you are kind of fat-ish. Actually, you are in between because you are not too fat-ish, but you are not really skinny-ish either."
Me: "Thanks Cael...I needed to hear that today."
I just adore my precious child's honesty!
