Memorial weekend always marks the start of summer so we usually end up at the lake. This year was beautiful and hot! The water was still cold but that did not stop the kiddos from swimming until their lips were purple. My cousin and her family from Wisconsin were visiting and spent some time with us. Avery was in heaven since she has two little girls to play with when they are in town.
We made a stop at my Grandparents house for a yummy lunch. Luke was super cuddly with Grandma and Grandpa which was really sweet. This kids played in the basement and on the front porch. It brought back so many memories of me and my cousins playing the same things not all that long ago (minus coordinating DS's).
We had a great time at the lake. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the end of school and the start of summer. Gabe tried the EZ Ski for the first time and did awesome! He was not scared at all. I think next summer our kids are going to be ready to try out some real skis!
